Who we are

In this policy, “LongevityX”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean LongevityX Pty Ltd, a telehealth service that connects patients with independent, AHPRA-registered Australian practitioners. We are based in Queensland, Australia.

The information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — your name, email address and phone number, provided through our eligibility check or contact form.
  • Goal and preference information — non-clinical details about what you’d like help with and when you’d prefer to be contacted.
  • Health information — collected only by your treating practitioner during a consultation, and handled as sensitive information under the Privacy Act.
  • Technical information — basic device and usage data your browser sends when you visit our website.

We do not ask you to share prescription or treatment details through our website forms, and we ask that you keep sensitive medical information for your private consultation.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Arrange and provide your telehealth consultation and ongoing care;
  • Respond to your enquiries and contact you about your request;
  • Operate, maintain and improve our website and services; and
  • Meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We will only use your information for the purpose it was collected, a related purpose you would reasonably expect, or where you have given consent or the law permits or requires it.

When we disclose your information

We may share your information with the AHPRA-registered practitioners who provide your care, with the pharmacy that dispenses any treatment your practitioner prescribes, and with service providers who help us operate our business (such as secure IT and communications providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required or authorised by law.

How we store and protect it

We hold your information in secure systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Where we no longer need your information and are not required by law to retain it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Making a complaint

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
